Kingdaddy is proud to be affiliated with the Queen's Cup SteepleChase. We have performed annually for the now famous "Hot Walk" party, after the horse races, every year since 2000. The Queen's Cup is held annually at the end of April, and has become one of the Charlotte areas premier events.

Steve Somloi is a very talented photographer and a friend of Kingdaddy bassist, Tom Berger. Steve took photos of our show on May 15, 2006, when we played for IMG Marketing during Speed Week in Charlotte. Many notable NASCAR personalities were in attendance.

Kingdaddy has been involved in performing at charitable fund raising events for this charity for several years. Hollye Reid, wife of Kingdaddy guitarist Jim Reid, is the area coordinator for the greater Rock Hill chapter of Family Connection of SC, which focuses one meeting the needs of families of people with special needs.
